of <h1>Nepal to Export 40 MW Electricity to Bangladesh via India's Transmission Line Under New Trilateral Power Agreement</h1> Nepal will begin exporting 40 MW of electricity to Bangladesh through India's transmission line starting midnight on June 15. The countries signed a trilateral agreement in October 2024, enabling electricity transmission via the 400-kV Muzaffarpur-Baharampur-Bheramara line. Nepal will charge 6.4 cents per unit, with Bangladesh agreeing to import electricity for five years.
