A retired judge, Shri Justice Mukul Mudgal, is leading the one-man Inquiry Committee to investigate whether these activities violated any Indian laws. The committee will examine media reports and any related matters, with a report due in three months. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs supports the committee's operations. The public is invited to submit relevant information within two weeks to the Wal-Mart Inquiry Committee in New Delhi or via email.
