<h1>Foreign Exchange Reserves Dip Slightly to $691.49 Billion, Still Strong Enough to Cover Imports and External Debt</h1> India's central bank reported a decrease in foreign exchange reserves by USD 1.24 billion to USD 691.49 billion for the week ending May 30. Despite the drop, the reserves remain sufficient to cover over 11 months of goods imports and 96% of external debt. Foreign currency assets declined, while gold reserves slightly increased. The reserves had previously reached an all-time high of USD 704.885 billion in September 2024.
