Hand pumps (Filter Points) is an eligible activity for refinance by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) under the Minor Irrigation Sector. The total refinance disbursed under Minor Irrigation Sector during last three years is as under:

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and NABARD have reported that no specific complaints of irregularities in sanctioning these loans during the said period have been received.
This was stated by the Minister of State for Finance Shri Namo Narain Meena in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today.
