As reported in the Lok Sabha, investigations for 95 cases have been completed, with reports submitted to the government. Four cases have been stayed or quashed by courts, and 34 remain under investigation. SFIO has identified violations of the Companies Act, 1956, and offenses like criminal breach of trust and cheating. Prosecutions were initiated in 991 cases, leading to 39 convictions under the Companies Act. Three complaints were dismissed due to double jeopardy, and other cases are ongoing in courts.
