<h1>Sugarcane Department Sets Rs 1.41 Lakh Crore Output Target for FY 2025-26 to Support Trillion-Dollar Economy Goal</h1> The Uttar Pradesh Sugarcane Development Department has established a gross value output target of Rs 1,41,846 crore for FY 2025-26, supporting the state's goal of achieving a USD 1-trillion economy by 2030. The department plans to increase GVA contribution to Rs 1,03,038 crore from sugarcane and Rs 38,808 crore from jaggery production. Key strategies include improving sugar recovery rates to 10.50%, ensuring timely sale of 91.54 lakh quintals of sugar, expanding storage capacity to 4 lakh quintals, reducing state assistance dependency, and recruiting skilled workers through outsourcing by May 2025.
