<h1>BSNL Records First Net Profit in 18 Years with Rs 262 Crore Earnings and Growing 4G Network</h1> State-owned telecom company BSNL has recorded its first net profit in 18 years, earning Rs 262 crore in the October-December quarter compared to a Rs 1,262 crore loss in the same period last year. The company added 55 lakh users over six months, increasing its customer base from 8.55 crore to 9.1 crore. BSNL has deployed 73,326 of its planned 100,000 4G towers, achieving 73% of its target with 1.85 crore 4G subscribers. The Communications Minister stated that BSNL is focusing on profitability and customer service, with plans to implement indigenous 5G technology after completing its 4G rollout.
