Solapur city saw the highest increase at 10.17%, followed by Ulhasnagar (9%), Amravati (8.03%), and Thane (7.72%). The state average is 4.39% excluding Mumbai, which saw just a 3.39% rise. The increase varies across different areas: 5.95% in urban municipal corporations, 3.36% in rural areas, 3.29% in influence areas, and 4.97% in municipal councils. This revision is expected to generate approximately Rs 10,000 crore for the government treasury against a target of Rs 63,500 crore from stamp duty and registration fees.
