The university will address capacity building needs for the sector's 8 lakh institutions and 30 crore people, offering degree programs, distance education, and e-learning courses. It will train approximately 800,000 individuals annually, establish sector-specific Schools of Excellence, and unify 284 cooperative training institutes across India.
