Shri Sachin Pilot, Minister of State (Independent Charge) has taken over as the as the new Corporate Affairs Minister here in Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi today. He was welcomed by Shri Naved Masood, Secretary, Corporate Affairs, Shri Bhaskar Chatterjee, DG, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Shri A.K. Srivastava, Additional Secretary in the M/o Corporate Officers and the Senior Officials.
On this occasion while interacting with the media persons present the Minister said his priority will to make the MCA as an enabling ministry that works by taking cooperation of all concerned. Shri Pilot said he will try to work for a direct contact with common man. The minister said he wish that the corporate sector in India go for its country wide reach rather than to mere concentration on the urban areas. He said a Good Corporate Governance is very important for the over all growth of the country.
