The Sensex fell 191.51 points to 77,414.92, while the Nifty dropped 72.60 points to 23,519.35. Despite this, both indices posted gains of over 5% for the fiscal year. IndusInd Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra were among the major decliners, while Kotak Mahindra Bank and Hindustan Unilever were gainers. Asian and European markets also faced declines, and US markets ended lower. Brent crude rose slightly to USD 74.16 a barrel.
