Nine (9) Road Projects of 1226.115 KM Stretch from the State Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Bihar with Total Project Cost of Rs. 11596.84 Crores and Viability Gap Funding (VGF) under the Scheme of Rs. 2295.06 Crores Approved
The Empowered Committee (EC) under the Scheme for Financial Support to Public Private Partnership (PPPs) in Infrastructure (i.e. the Viability Gap Funding Scheme) granted approval to 9 road projects of 1226.115 km stretch from the State Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Bihar with Total Project Cost of Rs. 11596.84 crores and viability gap funding (VGF) under the Scheme of Rs. 2295.06 crores. These projects are at an advanced stage of bidding/construction and are expected to result in disbursal of (approximately) Rs. 500.00 crores from the Government of India during the current financial year 2012-13.
