The initiative includes subsidies for machine planting and certified seeds. Additionally, 100 farmers will visit Japan, China, and Vietnam to learn modern farming techniques. The government will introduce the Tamil Nadu Agroforestry Policy to promote valuable tree cultivation and establish 1,000 Chief Minister's Farmers Service Centres. Other initiatives include a Rs 24 crore allocation for summer ploughing, a Rs 22.80 crore hill farmers development scheme, enhanced maize production, and a Rs 841 crore Crop Insurance Scheme.
