<h1>Civil Aviation Minister seeks customs post at Agartala airport; plans for Kailashahar revival and improved rail connectivity.</h1> The Civil Aviation Minister has pledged to seek approval from the Union home ministry to establish a customs check-post at Agartala airport, a step towards its international status. The Tripura Transport Minister revealed discussions with the minister about reviving the Kailashahar airport for small planes. Additionally, meetings with other Union ministers focused on setting up a regional Food Corporation of India office in Agartala and enhancing railway connectivity, including introducing Vande Bharat Express and upgrading railway tracks. The Centre has also agreed to clear pending state reimbursement bills of Rs 53.17 crore.
