<h1>Sensex and Nifty Swing as Initial Gains Erased by Selling Pressure; HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel Drag Down.</h1> Equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty opened positively but soon turned negative due to volatility and selling pressure in shares like HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel. Sensex initially rose by 578.36 points but later fell by 305.25 points to 73,424.98, while Nifty dropped by 86.05 points to 22,251.25. UltraTech Cement and others were among the laggards, whereas Asian Paints and Tata Steel gained. Global markets showed mixed trends with Asian markets rising and US markets closing higher. Foreign Institutional Investors sold equities worth Rs 2,895.04 crore. Brent crude increased by 0.63% to USD 69.74 per barrel.
