of <h1>Telangana CM Urges Union Minister to Release Rs 1,891 Crore for Pending Rice Dues, Seeks Solar Power Permissions</h1> The Chief Minister of Telangana met with the Union Food and Renewable Energy Minister to request the release of Rs 1,468.94 crore pending dues for rice supplied to the Food Corporation of India during the 2014-15 kharif season. The CM also sought the release of Rs 343.27 crore for additional rice supplied under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana and Rs 79.09 crore for rice distributed under the non-NFSA. Additionally, the CM requested an extension of the custom milling rice period and appealed for the restoration of permissions for 4,000 megawatts of solar power generation under the PM Kusum scheme.
