<h1>India's Soybean Meal Exports Rise in January; France Leads as Top Importer Despite Overall Decline Since October</h1> India exported 2.78 lakh tonnes of soybean meal in January, a slight increase from the previous year. France was the largest importer, receiving nearly 20% of the exports. Other significant importers included Germany and the Netherlands. Despite competitive pricing compared to the US, Brazil, and Argentina, total exports of soya cake from October 2024 to January 2025 decreased by 15% compared to the previous year. Soya cake, a protein-rich byproduct of soybean oil extraction, is used in food products and animal feed.
