Subsidy obligations rise sharply, driven by larger food, fertilizer and petroleum subsidies, per revised budget estimates disclosure. Increase in central government subsidy payable is reported through a comparative sectoral breakdown showing marked rises in food, fertilizer and petroleum subsidies between the earlier actual year and the Revised Estimate year; the document presents component-wise figures and the aggregate total for the Revised Estimate year as a budgetary disclosure supplied in a parliamentary written reply.
