<h1>Himachal Pradesh Launches North India's First 1-MW Green Hydrogen Plant, Aiming for Completion in One Year</h1> The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh laid the foundation for a 1-MW green hydrogen plant in Solan district, marking north India's first such project. Developed by Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited with Oil India Limited, the project costs Rs 9.04 crore and aims for completion within a year. The plant will produce hydrogen using renewable energy, significantly reducing emissions. With a daily capacity of 423 kilograms, it will consume 13 liters of water and 52.01 units of electricity per kilogram. The initiative supports Himachal Pradesh's goal to be India's first green energy state by March 2026.
