Outstanding Credit of Scheduled Commercial Banks
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) maintains data on Outstanding credit of Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs), not on loans disbursed. Outstanding credit of SCBs is given below:

Outstanding credit of scheduled commercial banks shows reported annual growth and higher public sector lending trends over 2008-2010. The Reserve Bank of India maintains and publishes data on outstanding credit of Scheduled Commercial Banks, distinct from loan disbursement figures, reporting aggregate outstanding credit and annual growth rates for the years ending 31 March 2008-2010. Separate figures and growth rates are provided for outstanding credit to Central and State Government departments and public financial and non financial corporations, and these data were furnished to Parliament in a written reply by the Minister of State for Finance.Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
