Creative industries cooperation between Japan and India to boost industry linkages, design promotion, content collaboration and regular governmental dialogues. The Ministers announced a framework, the Japan-India Comprehensive Cooperation on Creative Industries, to promote bilateral industry linkages across design, apparel, textiles, household goods, jewelry, food, film, animation and traditional crafts; leverage IT and electronics for commercialization and IPR creation; facilitate B2B matching via trade organizations; promote design awards; encourage sectoral collaborations and co-productions; pursue marketing, sales and human resources development through memoranda of understanding; improve business-friendly regulatory environments; foster grassroots cultural exchange; and direct senior officials to establish regular dialogues to monitor implementation.
