From April to date, SECL removed 281 million cubic metres of overburden, a 7.6% increase from the previous year, achieving 105% of its target. The company aims to surpass its annual goal with an additional 40-45 million cubic metres. SECL uses a climate-friendly, blast-free vertical ripper technique for minimal environmental impact and has expedited land acquisition, creating over 880 jobs for landowners.
