In the first case, 26 kg of methamphetamine was confiscated from a truck in Assam, leading to one arrest. In the second, 6 kg was seized in Tripura, resulting in two arrests. These actions are part of DRI's ongoing efforts against drug syndicates, having seized over 231 kg of methamphetamine and other drugs worth Rs 355 crore in the region during FY 2024-25, leading to 70 arrests and the seizure of 32 vehicles.
