The acquisition will occur in two tranches, and Tata Electronics will transfer the business undertaking of its wholly-owned subsidiary, TEL Components, to Pegatron India. Pegatron India, a subsidiary of Pegatron Corporation, provides electronics manufacturing services for companies like Apple and exports globally. This move follows Tata Electronics' acquisition of Wistron's iPhone unit in Bangalore for USD 125 million.
