Key initiatives include the Sectoral Plan for Efficient Logistics in the coal sector, state logistics policies, and the Logistics Ease Across Different States (LEADS) 2023. Efforts by the Ministry of Railways and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, along with digital platforms like ULIP and the Logistics Data Bank, aim to reduce logistics costs and improve supply chain efficiency. India has improved its Logistics Performance Index ranking, supported by infrastructure and digitization efforts.
