The initiative, aimed at accommodating more Central Government employees' children, involves a budget of approximately Rs. 5872.08 crore over eight years. This expansion is expected to create 5,388 permanent jobs and benefit 82,560 students. The KVs, known for high educational standards, cater primarily to the children of Central Government and Defence personnel, including those in remote areas, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020.
