A pilot project has been launched to offer 1.25 lakh internships in the financial year 2024-25. Companies are selected based on their average CSR expenditure, with additional participation allowed upon approval by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Currently, 1.27 lakh internship opportunities are available, with 6.21 lakh applications received. The scheme seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs.
