The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the acquisition of certain shareholding in Shiprocket Private Limited by KDT Venture Holdings, LLC

The Proposed Combination envisages acquisition of certain shareholding in Shiprocket Private Limited (Shiprocket/Target) by KDT Venture Holdings, LLC (KDT/Acquirer).

KDT is incorporated in the United States of America (US) and is an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in startups in countries/ geographies including the US, Israel, and the United Kingdom in the healthcare, supply chain and manufacturing, cyber security, semiconductors, connectivity, fintech, enterprise software, and energy transformation sectors. KDT is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Koch, Inc.

Shiprocket operates a logistics platform whereby it provides logistics services to other businesses, domestically and internationally, through logistics service providers listed on its platform.

Competition approval for acquisition of shareholding in a logistics platform permits KDT's investment under merger control oversight.
