The event emphasized expanding the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) programme to include more partners, focusing on trust and technology. Discussions covered India's AEO progress, benefits to MSMEs, and global trade practices. The AEO programme, under the World Customs Organisation's SAFE Framework, aims to enhance cargo security through cooperation with international supply chain stakeholders. India has 5,947 AEO entities and has signed MRAs with several countries.
