It includes developing roads, traffic systems, and flood management in Haldwani, and expanding water and sanitation services in Champawat, Kichha, Kotdwar, and Vikasnagar. The project also emphasizes gender mainstreaming with skill training for women. The European Investment Bank is providing additional funding of $191 million.
