<h1>Commerce Minister to Attend ASEAN-India & East Asia Economic Meetings in Laos, Engage in Bilateral Talks, Sept 2024.</h1> The Union Minister of Commerce and Industry will visit Vientiane, Laos, on September 20-21, 2024, to attend the 21st ASEAN-India Economic Ministers meeting and the 12th East Asia Summit Economic Ministers Meeting. These meetings, hosted by Laos as the ASEAN Chair for 2024, will involve economic ministers from ASEAN countries and other partners, including India, the USA, Russia, China, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Discussions will focus on reviewing the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement and regional economic developments. The Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with counterparts from participating countries and engage with the Indian diaspora and industry delegation in Laos.
