RBI Allows NRIs and FIIs to Invest in Monnet Ispat & Energy Under Portfolio Investment Scheme with Set Limits.

The Reserve Bank of India announced that Foreign Institutional Investors, Non-Resident Indians, and Persons of Indian Origin can now invest in equity shares and convertible debentures of Monnet Ispat & Energy Limited under the Portfolio Investment Scheme. These investments can be made through primary markets and stock exchanges in India. The company has set investment limits at 40% of its paid-up capital for Foreign Institutional Investors and 24% for Non-Resident Indians and Persons of Indian Origin, following resolutions passed in their Board of Directors' and General Body Meetings.
