of <h1>National Monetisation Pipeline generates Rs 3.85 lakh crore in three years, with Roads and Coal Ministries leading 2023-24 efforts.</h1> The National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP) has monetised assets worth Rs 3.85 lakh crore over three years, following its announcement in the Union Budget 2021-22. The NMP, developed by NITI Aayog with infrastructure ministries, targeted Rs 6 lakh crore over four years. In 2021-22 and 2022-23, Rs 2.30 lakh crore was achieved against a Rs 2.5 lakh crore target. In 2023-24, Rs 1.56 lakh crore was achieved against a Rs 1.8 lakh crore target. The Ministries of Road Transport and Highways and Coal were top performers in 2023-24, achieving Rs 97,000 crore collectively. NHAI has identified 33 assets for monetisation in 2024-25 to facilitate investment planning.
