        <h1>April 2024 Sees 6.88% Growth in Exports, Totaling USD 64.56B; Electronic Goods Lead with 25.8% Rise, Trade Deficit at USD 6.51B.</h1> In April 2024, total exports of merchandise and services grew by 6.88% to USD 64.56 billion compared to April 2023. Merchandise exports increased by 1.08% to USD 34.99 billion, driven by sectors like electronic goods, organic and inorganic chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Electronic goods exports rose by 25.8%, while organic and inorganic chemicals grew by 16.75%. Services exports saw a significant rise of 14.68%, reaching USD 29.57 billion. Total imports also increased by 12.78% to USD 71.07 billion, with a trade deficit of USD 6.51 billion. Non-petroleum and non-gems jewelry exports slightly increased to USD 26.11 billion.
