<h1>ASEAN-India Trade Agreement Review Meeting Aims to Boost Business Benefits; Next Session Set for July in Jakarta.</h1> The 4th Joint Committee meeting for the review of the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) took place in Putrajaya, Malaysia, from May 7-9, 2024. Co-chaired by representatives from India and Malaysia, the meeting included delegates from India and all 10 ASEAN countries. The review aims to enhance trade facilitation and benefits for businesses. Eight Sub-Committees were formed to address various policy areas, with five already reporting their progress. ASEAN is a significant trade partner for India, accounting for 11% of its global trade. The next meeting is scheduled for July 29-31, 2024, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
