<h1>India's FY 2024-25 Borrowing Plan: Rs. 7.50 Lakh Crore in H1, New 15-Year Security, Green Bonds, and T-Bills.</h1> The Government of India, in partnership with the Reserve Bank of India, has set its borrowing plan for the first half of FY 2024-25. From a total projected borrowing of Rs. 14.13 lakh crore for the fiscal year, Rs. 7.50 lakh crore will be raised in the first half through dated securities, including Rs. 12,000 crore via Sovereign Green Bonds. A new 15-year security will be introduced, with borrowing distributed across various maturities. Weekly Treasury Bill issuances will amount to Rs. 27,000 crore and Rs. 22,000 crore in the first quarter. The Reserve Bank has set the Ways and Means Advances limit at Rs. 1.50 lakh crore.
