New Central Processing Centre to Streamline Corporate Filings, Enhance Business Efficiency Starting February 2024.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has launched a Central Processing Centre (CPC) for centralized processing of corporate filings, operational from February 16, 2024. Initially, 12 forms related to corporate regulatory requirements will be processed, with more forms added from April 2024. This initiative aims to streamline processes, reduce physical interactions, and enhance the ease of doing business. The CPC, along with the Central Registration Centre (CRC) and Centralised Processing for Accelerated Corporate Exit (C-PACE), will expedite incorporation, closure, and compliance processes. The establishment of CPC allows the Registrar of Companies to focus on core functions like inquiries and inspections.
