The platform, established to enhance transparency and efficiency in public procurement, connects over 20 lakh sellers with more than 3 lakh government buyers. States have increased their order value by 56% to Rs 49,302 crore. GeM's services sector has surged, with procurement reaching Rs 1,30,984 crore. The platform promotes inclusivity, with nearly 50% of orders awarded to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), including women-led businesses.
