<h1>SBI to Issue Electoral Bonds for Political Donations from Nov 6-20, 2023; Valid for 15 Days; Available to Indian Citizens.</h1> The Government of India has authorized the State Bank of India (SBI) to issue and encash Electoral Bonds from November 6 to November 20, 2023, through its 29 designated branches across the country. These bonds, valid for 15 days from issuance, can be purchased by Indian citizens or entities and are intended for donation to eligible political parties. Only parties registered under Section 29A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, and having secured at least one percent of votes in the last general election, can encash these bonds through a bank account with the authorized bank.
