<h1>India-EU Trade and Technology Council: Stakeholders Discuss Digital Trade, Green Tech, and Cross-Border Payment Interoperability.</h1> At the first Ministerial meeting of the India-EU Trade and Technology Council, a Stakeholders Event for Working Groups 1 and 2 was co-chaired by Indian and EU officials. Eighteen stakeholders from various business sectors in India and the EU shared their views. Discussions focused on digital technologies, cross-border payment interoperability, re-globalization, harmonized standards, digital trade, and investment. Topics also included green technologies, such as hydrogen production, battery systems, and waste management. The Indian minister emphasized digital transformation, reskilling, and mutual recognition of qualifications to enhance joint skill development and suggested periodic engagements for focused outcomes.
