The Union Minister of State for Finance reported that in Rajasthan, 64% of the 81 lakh loans were granted to women entrepreneurs. The scheme offers collateral-free loans up to Rs. 10 lakh for small businesses and has expanded to include various agricultural and commercial activities. Issues like loan application delays and collateral demands are addressed with banks. The PMMY includes three loan categories: Shishu, Kishore, and Tarun.
