<h1>India's FY 2022-23 Financial Report: 79.9% of Budgeted Receipts Achieved by Dec 2022; Expenditure Hits Rs 28.18 Lakh Crore.</h1> The Union Government of India's financial accounts up to December 2022 for the fiscal year 2022-23 show total receipts of Rs 18,25,100 crore, which is 79.9% of the budget estimate. This includes Rs 15,55,692 crore in net tax revenue, Rs 2,14,302 crore in non-tax revenue, and Rs 55,106 crore in non-debt capital receipts. The government transferred Rs 6,09,437 crore to state governments, which is Rs 1,59,127 crore more than the previous year. Total expenditure reached Rs 28,18,076 crore, with Rs 23,28,132 crore on revenue account and Rs 4,89,944 crore on capital account, including significant interest payments and subsidies.
