<h1>India Boosts COVID-19 Infrastructure: 3-Tier Health System, PSA Plants, and Oxygen Supply Enhancements.</h1> The Economic Survey 2022-23 highlights the Indian government's efforts to enhance COVID-19 infrastructure, focusing on a three-tier health facility system to manage cases and prevent cross-infection. This includes dedicated centers for mild, moderate, and severe cases, supported by large-scale field hospitals. To address oxygen shortages, 4,135 PSA plants are being established to increase oxygen generation by 4,852 MT, alongside the distribution of over 4 lakh oxygen cylinders and 1,13,186 oxygen concentrators. These measures, part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan, aim to strengthen health infrastructure and ensure adequate medical oxygen supply across the country.
