This is the final tranche of a $500 million financing program initiated in 2018. The project includes developing sewage treatment plants, stormwater drainage, and extensive water distribution networks. It aims to improve access to water and sanitation and enhance flood resilience in industrial hubs. Additionally, two all-female self-help groups will be trained in water conservation and sanitation practices in Coimbatore and Madurai.
