of <h1>Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana Disburses 37.76 Crore Loans, Generating 1.12 Crore Jobs Since 2015, Boosting Small Businesses.</h1> Since its inception in April 2015, the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) has disbursed over 37.76 crore loans amounting to more than Rs. 20.43 lakh crore. A survey by the Ministry of Labour and Employment indicates that the scheme generated 1.12 crore net additional employment between 2015 and 2018. The Shishu category accounts for 66% of the employment generated, followed by Kishore and Tarun categories. PMMY provides collateral-free institutional credit up to Rs. 10 lakh through various financial institutions, supporting small business enterprises in manufacturing, trading, services, and agriculture-related activities.
