<h1>Virtual Conferences by Controller General Enhance India's IP Ecosystem; Daily Sessions Address Stakeholder Grievances, Improve Access to Hearings.</h1> The Office of Controller General of Patents Designs and Trademarks has initiated daily open conferences since October 17, 2022, to enhance the Intellectual Property ecosystem in the country. These virtual sessions, held from 10:30 to 11:30 am on working days, aim to address grievances and queries from IP stakeholders, reducing the need for physical visits to IP offices. Over 104 stakeholders participated in the inaugural session. The initiative facilitates quicker resolution of issues, including delays in office actions. Based on feedback, a dynamic cause list for Trade Marks hearings was implemented on December 1, 2022, allowing online access to hearing rooms.
