<h1>Private investment in manufacturing drives centre-state dialogue to develop practical policy recommendations and implementation models.</h1> The workshop convened stakeholders to focus on private investment in manufacturing, housing and real estate, and services, organised by the State of Assam and the Department of Economic Affairs. It gathered senior State and UT officials, industry and academia to enable centre-state and inter-state exchange on ideas and best practices. The event reviewed preparatory materials and featured presentations followed by open discussion aimed at producing practical, state-relevant recommendations and implementation models aligned to infrastructure and investment objectives.
