<h1>India's Agri-Food Exports Surge 14% in Q1 2022-23, Driven by Processed Foods, Fruits, and Cereals Boost.</h1> India's agricultural and processed food exports rose by 14% to USD 5,987 million in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2022-23, achieving 25.4% of the annual export target of USD 23.56 billion. Processed food exports saw a significant increase of 36.4%. Growth was also noted in fresh fruits and vegetables (8.6%), cereals (29%), and meat, dairy, and poultry products (9.5%). The government plans to sustain this growth through collaboration with stakeholders and initiatives like B2B exhibitions and marketing campaigns. Despite logistical challenges, India's agricultural exports had previously grown by 19.92% in 2021-22.
