<h1>India's Exports Surge 23% in June 2022, Reaching $64.91B; Imports Rise 55.72%, Causing Trade Deficit of $17.51B.</h1> India's overall exports, including merchandise and services, increased by 23% in June 2022, reaching an estimated USD 64.91 billion. In the first quarter of FY 22-23, exports grew by over 25% to USD 189.93 billion. Key sectors such as petroleum products, electronic goods, textiles, and gems and jewelry saw significant growth. Imports also rose sharply by 55.72% in June, totaling USD 82.42 billion, leading to a trade deficit of USD 17.51 billion. The merchandise trade deficit expanded to USD 26.18 billion in June, with imports outpacing exports significantly. Services exports grew by 22.04%, while imports increased by 48.62%.
