of <h1>Customs Tariff Update: New Values for Palm Oil, Soybean Oil, Brass, Gold, and Silver from July 1, 2022.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued Tariff Notification No. 55/2022-CUSTOMS (N.T.) to amend the tariff values for various goods, effective July 1, 2022. The updated tariff values include crude palm oil at $1401 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $1482, and crude soybean oil at $1572. Brass scrap is set at $5329 per metric tonne. Gold is valued at $585 per 10 grams, and silver at $686 per kilogram. Areca nuts remain unchanged at $7065 per metric tonne. These amendments are made under the Customs Act, 1962.
